Helianthus Guesthouse is located in Ammouliani, the only populated island of Central Macedonia. It is situated between Mount Athos and the peninsula of Sithonia. Ammouliani is 122 kilometers away from Thessaloniki and is only reachable by sea from the port of Tripiti. The landmarks in the area include Church of Agios Nikolaos, religious buildings and the old shipyard or “Arsanas”.

The guesthouse is comprised of 9 themed bedrooms (twin and triple) namely Iasmos, Iris, Hibiscus, Dianthus, Anthemis, Amarylis, Althea, Hyacinthus and Valeriana. The rooms are equipped with safety deposit box, mini bar, bathroom with shower and wake up service.
There are also orthopedic beds and mattresses, goose-down pillows, linen and a selection of natural personal care products.

Helianthus Guesthouse is built in the traditional style of Mount Athos. Wood and stone blend with the landscape in the same way that traditional architecture is combined with modern quality. It has been in operation since August 2009.
